Evening at Birkdale School, Oakholme Building

A recent visit to the completed entrance project for Birkdale School that provided new car parking spaces as well as a revised and fully accessible approach to the school reception showed how evening lighting brings another dimension and character to the building and the new landscaping.

Low level lighting accents the steps and ramped approach picking out risers and entry points, whilst up-lighters highlight architectural detail on the Oakholme Building (a building recognised as one of townscape merit). Uplighting spots bring the stainless steel lettering to life with a ‘dropped shadow’.
